About
I'm Desmond, Darlington6 on GitHub, and I like building things end to end rather than just one layer of the stack. Most days that's Python and Django on the backend, React and TypeScript on the front, Flutter when it needs to live on a phone.
Lately I've been pulled into Web3; AgentPay and ProofPass, both below, came out of that curiosity. I also utilise AI tools to move faster day to day, and take on virtual assistant and freelance work on the side.

Manual and automated testing across the stack, from API test suites in Postman to catching edge cases before users do.

Designing REST APIs, database schemas, and the backend systems that hold a product together.

Cross-platform mobile apps in Dart/Flutter, from UI to Firebase-backed real-time features.
Web3 & Blockchain
Smart contracts and on-chain tooling in Solidity, policy-enforced payments, zero-knowledge verification.
UI/UX Design (Figma)
Wireframes to polished interfaces, designing in Figma before, or alongside, writing the code.
Project Management
Planning and running projects in Trello, scoping, timelines, and keeping delivery on track.

Remote support and freelance engagements, admin, coordination, and getting things done reliably.

TypeScriptA gamified platform for reporting plastic-waste hotspots and logging recycling activity in Kigali, Rwanda. Django/DRF API with a React + TypeScript PWA frontend. My BSc Software Engineering capstone at ALU.
AgentPay
JavaScriptProgrammable, on-chain spending policies for AI agents: a Solidity contract that enforces per-transaction limits, daily caps and recipient whitelists on Base, with a wallet-connected frontend.
AgriFlow
TypeScriptA climate-smart demand-to-farm coordination platform that turns verified buyer demand into production planning, harvest forecasting and delivery, instead of farmers producing and hoping to find a buyer.
ProofPass
TypeScriptZero-knowledge age-range verification built on Midnight, proving you're within an age range without revealing your birthdate. Built for the MLH Midnight Hackathon, Integrate Midnight track.
Rovify
DartA Flutter event-discovery app with NFT-ticketed events, real-time interactions and crypto wallet integration, powered by Firestore for live data and community features.
Exam Prep
TypeScriptA study companion web app that helps students prepare for exams, with interactive practice sets and progress tracking to make revision less painful.
